"I searched for 2 days for a pilates dvd that focussed on pregnancy pilates.  Sadly, I didn't connect with one...until I FINALLY found Pregalates!!!

After watching the introduction, I felt I could relate to Tasha, she had an open and friendly face PLUS was pregnant so it felt like she could relate to any discomfort I was feeling!

Two weeks into the 2nd Trimester DVD and I'm hooked!!  In fact, I think Tasha and the DVD are the only people on the planet I currently like (very hormonal).  I'm noticing a difference in my stretching range, comfort and overall well-being.  The great thing is that Tasha is extremely relaxed, open and honest in her presentation - "it's going to hurt" (yes, it does) and, my favourite, "we're almost done, so back on the couch with the chocolate" (lovely, I have permission!).

It's brilliant and I highly recommend any woman who is looking for some at home exercise during pregnancy to seriously do this!  I know that I'll be spending more time with Tasha during the 3rd Trimester and DEFINITELY post natal!"

Thanks again Tasha, I'd sign up for your classes anyday!

WOW... i did my first workout yesterday whilst my toddlers were having there afternoon nap and i found it absolutely fantastic... My god it hurt with some of the exercises but i loved that you show that it is uncomfortable for you still as well... Makes it so easy to relate to you and not feel ridiculous lying on the lounge room floor trying to copy a dvd... I look forward to seeing a result and feeling the difference over time... Thanks so much...

"The best thing about the exercises (except the fact that my butt has not looked this good for quite some years) is the relief of the back pain I've had since my last pregnancy - delivery. Most of the back/spine exercises are the same as the one recommended by my physiotherapist. I have been doing this for around 6 months now, every second day, I know everything by heart, but am still listening to your constant "pelvic floor" reminders, the exercise just feels better having you push us around. With two weeks to due date, I count continuing til "the end", before the post natal sessions take over. Thank you for great dvds. In case you do some new dvds "pilates for and with kids", I will be the first to buy... Sincerily, Tijana"

Firstly, let me congratulate you on your fantastic series of DVD´s. I have used them all throughout my second pregnancy and i can´t recommend them enough! I've even got my non pregnant sister and mother doing your 2nd trimester DVD! I gave birth to my baby son on the 14th March and contrary to all expectations, thanks to your DVDs my legs have never looked better. I also gave up my daily power walks when 5 months pregnant and have only just started walking again. I have noticed a BIG difference in my posture and core strength. Thank you!

"I just wanted to say a very special thank you to you for your wonderful DVD collection. I have purchased the first two trimester workout series, and they are absolutely fabulous!!!

I feel fantastic after I have done these, and the best part about it, is knowing that it is all so safe for my little baby, and that you were pregnant whilst filming these aswell, truly magnificent!!! You made me laugh in it aswell which I think is fantastic, you don't get many instructors who crack a joke often, so thanks for the great sense of humour in it

I'll be purchasing the last two series as well, so a job well done to you Tash. It's wonderful to know that there are people out there who help woman keep fit and healthy through their pregnancies, so very important I believe!! Thanks again Tasha, you have made my personal experience with pregnancy pilates a delightful one."

A big thank you for the great DVDs. Don't think I'd have survived pregnancy wthout them. On the odd morning I woke with twinges & aches these always improved after doing he DVD. Can't comment on how it helped labour yet as this is my first baby so nothing to compare it to. I am now completely hooked to pilates, have never had such a firm bum (at least the pain is worth it!!)

"I received the DVDs and WOW they are fantastic. I was expecting you to go easy on us because we’re pregnant, but what a fantastic workout! I’ve only just begun the 2nd Trimester DVD and I love it. Especially the legs and bum section (well I really like the stretches more, I find them really relaxing, but I can REALLY feel the bottom... still actually). Thank you."

I first bought your 2nd trimester video at the Baby Expo in Brisbane earlier this year and want to let you know I love it!  It's a nice pace and really works you (well specifically the 2nd trimester legs section).  I'm now moving onto 3rd trimester when I receive the dvd.  I try to do it the suggested 3 times a week and haven't experienced any real pains, so there's proof.  I've always loved pilates as a form of exercise but this is great that taught by a person who is pregnant themselves and specifically tailored for each stage of pregnancy.'

"I received your dvds in the post last Monday - thank you. So far have managed to fit in 5 sessions and am feeling stronger for it already. I'm currently 25 weeks and my lower back and groin muscles were starting to get sore which is from an old transverse abdominal muscle injury a few years ago (courtesy of my now 7 year old & lifting him the wrong way). I was getting worried I wouldn't make it comfortably through to the end as I'm now too big for my normal pilates however your dvds look like they have saved the day. Thanks again."

This series is amazing. I went back to my original body shape within months of my second baby. This is a must have for anyone having a baby. Best gift I received by far. Thank you.

"I'll say upfront that I've actually gotten to know Tash in real life and I just like the way she always tells it like it is. Her personality comes right through on the DVD and that helped me feel comfortable straight away while I was sweating things out in my living room! I can really feel my body being worked so that's good.
I only bought the post-natal workout but I really wish I'd known her earlier when I was pregnant...I might have got a discount! ;) Good luck with everything Tash x"

I love the DVD - I love the fact that Tasha is so real - they are great dvd's and I am so glad that I made the investment. My 3.5yr old does it with me and my 22mth old climbs all over me when I do it - so it is a family affair here. I only wish I could find some more time to do it more often. Thank you for these DVDs - as I had a back injury late last year before falling pregnant with my third I have really noticed a difference and if I find my back is a little sore I will switch on the dvd and the stretches etc really work to ease it. Thanks Tasha you have truly done a great job and your realism is refreshing particularly as pregnancy is not all that attractive at times and certainly makes you feel a bit of a lump! Thanks I recommend them to all!!

" have really enjoyed the 2nd and 3rd trimester dvds (although I did end up in tears in the gluteus section on the 2nd one! But have now mastered it!). I have had a long history of back problems and my physio was concerned my back would not be able to support me through the pregnancy. I started pilates at about week 13 of the pregnancy and I have had no back problems since about week 15. It has been amazing! Thankyou so much for your teaching and these great resources."

Kerith

I received the DVDs and I started on the first one. Just wanted to share with you that I absolutely love it! I am excited to continue on as the journey gets harder. Thank you very much!

" I was excited to receive the DVD for my 2nd trimester & couldn't wait to play it.  So after a fast delivery of the item I was not disappointed.  As well as being extremely kind & helpful in emails, Tasha is a great instructor.  I felt comfortable & at ease doing the exercises & found the teaching easy to follow.  I think it helps that the teacher is also pregnant & feeling exactly what we would be feeling.  I just wish now that I found this website earlier in my pregnancy so that I could have started with the DVD for the 1st trimester....well there's always the 2nd pregnancy!  I look forward to follow on sequence in the 3rd trimester."

Carrian Myhan

I'm really enjoying the Pilates and it seems to be keeping the backache and sciatica at bay, which is marvellous.

Heading into the home straight now - eek! Looking forward to the next DVD to get me through it in one piece.

Many thanks, Kirstin

"Thanks for the prompt arrival of the DVDs. I am just at the 2nd trimester but broke my partner into Pilates with the 1st trimester class last night to educate his back for carrying the child later, since he is a sportsman with a bad back. We both enjoyed the DVD and he is aching this morning!

Although I have undertaken Pilates classes before, I felt your approach to be very friendly and the positions were well described and watchable. After his initial introduction we are going to continue with the 2nd trimester DVD and I look forward to no backache and an easier birth."

Thank you. Liz Pritchard

Your 2nd trimester DVD was excellent and has really eased my back pain, in fact I think that it has made my pregnancy a lot easier and I am so active! I look forward to starting on my 3rd trimester exercises.

Regards, Viv

I just wanted to say thank you so much for the First Trimester Pregalates DVD that I received in the post. Delivery was super fast and the packaging brought a tear to my eye as it was my first congratulations from anyone as my hubby and I have decided to keep our pregnancy secret for the first trimester.

I have been to Weight Watchers since January and have been on an extensive exercise programme, so I was really worried when I fell pregnant that I wouldn't be able to continue my exercise. I was equally concerned that Pilates would be too easy for me. Boy! Was I wrong! Your Pregalates really challenges me and I must admit after my first workout my bum muscles really ached the following day!

I am definitely going to buy the other DVDs, you have to get me through the rest of my pregnancy. Thanks so much again!

Love Irene

My little baby Alba is now three weeks old and we are enjoying your DVD. Sometimes I have to do the abs with her on my tummy, but that works quite well. I really feel that it is making a difference and stretching me just enough. I’ve done Pilates quite a bit before but I think that I would really struggle if not.

Having a DVD to follow is a lifesaver as at the moment she is too little for me to manage to get out to a class and leave her with someone. I was lucky and was back at my pre-pregnancy weight and shape after a week of having her, but my tummy is in need of a lot of exercise to get back to being as it was. (It looks fine, so long as I don’t bend over!)

I saw a write up of the DVD in Pregnancy & Baby magazine – pity I hadn’t known about it earlier, but I’ll certainly recommend it.

Best wishes, Julie Trevisan-Hunter and baby Alba

I have never done Pilates before, so when I did my first session with the DVD this weekend, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it was great! Your instructions were really clear, it was good to have lots of reminders of the breathing techniques, and the exercises were much harder than I thought – which is a good thing! I had worried that it would be too soft – just some stretching with no real effort involved, but instead I was shouting at the TV when doing the butt muscle exercises!
I liked that you were honest about some of the exercises being hard, and admitting to feeling hot and bothered yourself! Some instructors put you off by pretending it’s all effortless, which makes you feel like a failure straight away, but I’m really encouraged and will definitely stick to a three-times-a week routine.
Thanks again for a brilliant pregnancy exercise programme.

Jennie Walker

Thank you very much for the DVDs. The gift-wrap was a nice touch. The DVDs are very good and it helps that you were pregnant at the time when you made them as it helps me relate to the aches and pains etc! I found the workout very fulfilling and I felt good from what I had achieved.
Many thanks for your support.

Kind Regards, Zoe

Just a quickie to confirm receipt of the DVD (was refreshing not to pay over the odds for postage and very speedy delivery – thanks) and to say that I did it last night. I still manage to get to a studio class once a week but rely on DVDs for my second/third sessions as I can fit in a home workout so much more easily.

I really enjoyed the workout – I’ve done Pilates since I was four months pregnant with my first child (who is now two) and love it. I used to do a lot of club sport (swimming and athletics) and have always been pretty fit, so tend to find most forms of exercise don’t really push me enough, particularly pregnancy related stuff as people always err on the side of caution and take things super gently. However, the DVD wasn’t like that at all – the clam/inner thigh part is a killer! I loved it. Can’t wait for the post-natal work out (and to see my abs again)!

Thanks again, Faye

Thanks for a great ‘second trimester’ DVD. I have been doing it avidly and can definitely say it has helped with my back problems and has kept me exercising – I did a lot of sport before I became pregnant and was conscious that I didn’t want everything to ‘go to pot’ once I was pregnant!

Best wishes, Catherine

Love it. Down-to-earth, inclusive and not intimidating, I feel like I could put the kettle on straight after the class to have a cuppa with Tash. I feel fantastic and quite proud once I’d done a class.

Tanya

Enjoying this DVD lots, so hope the next one is as good. Like the pace, the real talk – baby kicking, this is hurting etc…keeps you going!

Look forward to getting the next one, time for a bit of change.

Thanks Sarah

Hey there! I'm so impressed with how my body is responding to the workouts! I'm also getting acupuncture for the back issues I was having and together I'm feeling great!

The Pregalates workout is increasing my balance too! Pregnancy can make everyone a bit clumsy but I've always been a bit clumsy! The increase in my balance and controlled movement has been strengthening my core and I can feel it!

Thank you for reminding me in the video over and over to focus on the pelvic floor muscle, it is so easy to lose the focus during a relaxing and sometimes difficult routine. Your kind reminders are needed! :)

Thank you so much again! Isn't it amazing how around the world in Portland, Or, your work is affecting and blessing my life so much? I think it's wonderful.

Sincerely, Sara

Pilates is amazing for pregnancy. I didn't suffer from any back pain, unlike my other pregnant girlfriends, my balance remained in tact and my posture didn't deteriorate. I kept a pretty compact 'bump' and felt confident and in control (most of the time!). I'm also convinced that it assisted in a natural birth and a speedy recovery afterwards. I'm a great believer in the many benefits of Pilates during pregnancy.
